Gustavo Vasquez is currently an Administrative Coordinator at Sonoma State University for both the Faculty Center & the Center for Community Involvement, as well as a Park Aide for Sonoma County Regional Parks, where he assists the Department of Community Engagement.
He graduated from Sonoma State University in May 2016, with a BA in Art Studio and a minor in Art History. His education focused primarily on photography and photojournalism, he also has experience in wheel and hand-thrown ceramics, metal casting and sculpture.
His past experience includes being an AmeriCorps VISTA with Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County, a Community Service Advisor at Sonoma State University, an intern for the office of Title IX, the Managing Editor for the Sonoma State STAR, the student-run newspaper at Sonoma State and an instructor of Leadership & Community Involvement for College for Kids at Diablo Valley College.
Gustavo is passionate about creating positive change and helping others through higher-education and conservation.
